What is an administrative lawyer?
An administrative lawyer is a nationally – qualified person under the relevant law, whose main duties include preparing documents for submission to the Japanese government (administration), acting as an agent in relevant procedures, and providing counseling services to related clients. Most of the documents are related to licenses and approvals, and there may be more than 10,000 types of documents.
Why TORI(Bird), KANI(Crab)?
“Tori” is a protein – rich, nutritious animal. It can be boiled or grilled, and has long been popular as an auspicious animal because its wings and feathers symbolize freedom, flight, and ascent.
The “crab” is another seafood that can be cooked or grilled, and also has auspicious symbols of victory, protection from evil, fertility, rebirth and regeneration.
In short, by naming our office after the “bird” and the “crab”, we hope that your license application will be an auspicious and welcome start of a wonderful first step.
We hope that our office can remain your lucky place in the years to come!
