Hello, this is Shishido.

Aさん

I’m married to a Japanese national, but I don’t know what the requirements are to apply for permanent residence!

Many people may have the same concern.

Therefore, in this article, we have prepared a checklist to help the following people confirm, whether they may be eligible to apply for permanent residence:

・Those who are married to a Japanese national and hold the status of residence “Spouse or Child of Japanese National”
・Those who are married to a permanent resident and hold the status of residence “Spouse or Child of Permanent Resident”

If you are considering applying for permanent residence, please feel free to use this checklist.

If both spouses are working, how is annual income calculated?

I think there should be no problem, but I’m not confident whether my own check is correct…
